amee, the environmental information business, has closed another round of financing from its investors: Amadeus, OATV and Union Square, total funding raised to date is now £13m. The investment supports amee’s development of the ameescore and related insight to help businesses understand the environmental efficiency of their trading partners, identify related risks and report key environmental metrics in a transparent and consistent way.
amee’s investors believe that the ameescore will create substantial value for businesses in the UK by providing cost effective analytics to reduce costs, manage risks and report progress. Also, using the ameescore, tools have been developed to automate the reporting required by the UK government’s Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC).
