AMEE at Green:Net in San Francisco

I will be presenting the opening “mini” keynote at Green:Net 2009, just after the Mayor of San Francisco and before the founder of 3Com and inventor of Ethernet, Bob Metcalfe, gives the main keynote.

Green:Net is billed as “The First Green Conference for the Internet Technology Industry” (although this title can probably be claimed by events such as geeKyoto) – however, I think it’s safe to say that the level of speakers at this GIGAOM event, which include GE, IBM, Trilliant and PG&E is indicative of just much the world has changed in even the last year.

Seeing AMEE represented as part of the ecosystem of solutions is remarkable, and demonstrates quite how much scope there is for innovation (on an international scale) to address a low-carbon, efficient society.
